Working visit of the delegation of East China University of Political Science and Law (China, Shanghai)

On June 20, 2024, representatives of the East China University of Political Science and Law from Shanghai paid an official visit to the University of Gdańsk. The meeting with guests organized by the Office of International Cooperation of the University of Gdańsk was attended by representatives of the Office, of the Faculty of Law and Administration, Vice-Deans of the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Management of the University of Gdańsk.

Our Faculty was represented by: Assoc. Prof. Marcin M. Wiszowaty - Vice-Dean for International Cooperation and Development and Assoc. Prof. Edvardas Juchnevićius - dean's representative for international cooperation.

The Chinese university was represented by: Prof. Tang Bo - Vice Chair of University Affairs Committee, Prof. Qian Yulin - Dean of School of Economic Law, Prof. Shao Yun - Vice Chair, Labor Union of ECUPL, Prof. Han Yichou - Deputy Director of International Exchange Center & Associate Dean of International School, Prof. Hu Yuhong - Editor-in-chief of "Law Science".

The meeting concerned the establishment of cooperation in the field of international academic cooperation, academic exchange of students, administration and scientists, and joint teaching and research projects.

Founded in 1952, East China University of Political Science and Law is one of the few higher education institutions in China specializing in legal education. ECUPL's alumni are found in virtually every legal profession and institution in greater East China - China's most developed geographical division - such as law firms, governmental agencies, courts, and educational institutions.
